Upcoming Pictures Of My IMVU Edits! (And Basic How-To)

Hello to whoever's reading this!
Wow, it's been a really long time since I last posted anything on here.
This might be a pretty pointless post but I feel the need to update my blog.
I changed the URL! (finally xD).
-Insert boring rambling here-
~ANYWAY! I started doing edits on mainly my own IMVU avatar (yes, I play that game, berate me if you must) and occasionally for other people when they responded to my Pulse posts...xD(This was last year when I started doing them). I think they're really fun to do and also very rewarding; even more so if you decide to charge people credits! ~Evil laugh~ XD
At the moment I'm pretty much not charging people. I don't know, maybe I feel guilty taking their credits. Yes, I think that'd be right. Haha.

Anyway, I use GIMP at a Wacom graphics tablet to do edits. For the people who don't know what 'edits' are, basically it's an airbrushed and sometimes photo manipulated picture of your IMVU avatar. All you do is take a snapshot of your avatar by using the nifty code thing for the IMVU chat called '*hiresnobg' (with the asterisk). Type in the code to the chat you're in and position the viewpoint (or whatever it's called) at your avatar to where desired and press 'Enter' or 'Send'. It takes a snapshot of your avatar without the background and automatically puts the file on your desktop for easy access.

Then you can use whatever photo editing program you want to airbrush or manipulate your or someone else's avatar.
• By the way, '*hiresnobg' stands for 'High Resolution No Background' and it's really handy.•
I can enhance the skin of the avatar to make it look more interesting and 'glowing', or I can make it pale, etc. ~~~

I'll be uploading some photos of my edits to here when I get home because the sites I need like DeviantART and PhotoBucket are blocked! D: Also, I have a lot of edits on my laptop and I'm using
 my iPad at school.
UNTIL TONIGHT! :D

Happy New Year!

Hi guys! Happy New Year!
A DIFFERENT FONT! HEHE.. awkward.. Anyhoo...
Sorry I haven't updated this since a few day before Christmas (I think). I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year’s Eve and Day. I sure did! A big present I got was a sewing machine! I have finally gotten into sewing. I'm not all that good at it yet but I can still do it. Here's a picture of one of the cute Christmas toys I sewed...

Isn't it adorable?! Well, I think so. Hehe. I sewed heaps of other different ones too before Christmas.

Anyhoo, onto other topics. On the school holidays my family and I went to Tasmania! It's so far the second state in Australia. In 2004 we went to Queensland and that was amazing, especially for a little kid like me!

Tasmania was really good too. The highlight of the trip was Cradle Mountain. It was so beautiful there. I a lot of photos of it. At the bottom of the mountain is a massive lake called Dove Lake. We did the circuit around it and it took us 3 hours!!! It was 6.6 km long! Well, 6 km is a VERY long walk for me... yes I am unfit. Okay, here are more photos! These are of Dove Lake and Cradle Mountain.

Dad and my sister walking to the start of the circuit.

Some random people. That's a nice mountain.

A nice water shot with the mountain at the back

It was a bit cloudy then

I must admit, I really love this photos. I could just eat those flowers! I wonder what species they are...

A tea tree branch in flower. I love these!!

A nice view from Glacial Rock

Helena (a.k.a 'Nini', although she HATES being called that), at Glacial Rock

Button grass and other plants. Apparently the tiger snakes LOVE the button grass!

I can't remember what this part of the Cradle Mountain National Park was...

    Ughh, the flower is blurry..

A nice little trickle of water on pebbles

    Nice reddish-orange rocks in water

Water flowing down a quartz rock with moss

    Another water shot

Ground perspective or an ant's view of the grass and water

More yellow flowers. I love this one too.

And more yellow flowers. Yes I love this one too.

More water. Hey it looks like beer! Hahaha

    Some red berries

     I like this photo :)
      One of my favourites!

And another on of my favourites

    Nice looking Cradle Mountain

A blurry photo of a Tasmanian Pademelon and her baby!

Well, that's pretty much all the pictures of Cradle Mountain and it's national park. Thanks for reading!

My Gingerbread House! Mmm!

Hi it's me again! So I started decorating my new gingerbread house yesterday! It was so fun but irresistible to eat some of the lollies. I didn't make the actual gingerbread itself but I put the lollies on it and stuck everything together with the icing. I hope you like my photos and get inspired to make or put together a gingerbread house yourselves! I'll upload some more photos of other Christmas stuff soon :)
Merry Christmas people,

- Anna.

It's almost Christmas!

Hi my few followers, well actually one and the occasional passerby!
It's only 10 days until Christmas and I am really excited! This is just a quick post.... I know nobody actually reads this but I want to update it anyway. I made three Christmas stockings yesterday but the most enjoyable one was the stocking I made for my cat! Its very small and cute, I must say. Funny thing is she has fleas so I'm going to put some strong flea stuff in there for her! What a great Christmas present. Nawh, poor cat. If I don't update this before Christmas (but I probably will) then Merry Christmas for then!!! Have a safe and happy holiday, - Anna. :D

My blog had a makeover!

Hi new readers!

I have given my blog and huge makeover. It used to be called 'Skate with your heart', it was about my figure skating progress but I only updated it once because I never had much to tell you (and it took too long :s). As you  can see, it's now called 'Anna's Photo Blog'! I know, I couldn't think of much else. I hope it gets more publicity though since about two people visited it when it was my old one. Photography seems to be more popular than skating anyway. It's also another one of my many interests! I'll try to updated it often enough to show you new pictures. I do take a lot and just need to get my act together to upload them. Yes I am a bit of a noob when it comes to blogs, I'm not all that experienced with them. I hope you enjoy my photos from where I live. It's really pretty here in Australia. <3
Thanks for reading, ~ Anna.

Oh, by the way, here's a link to my DeviantArt account. It has some of my weird drawings and other stuff (and some of the same photos.. haha). So here it is:
