Hi guys! Happy New Year!
A DIFFERENT FONT! HEHE.. awkward.. Anyhoo...
Sorry I haven't updated this since a few day before Christmas (I think). I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year’s Eve and Day. I sure did! A big present I got was a sewing machine! I have finally gotten into sewing. I'm not all that good at it yet but I can still do it. Here's a picture of one of the cute Christmas toys I sewed...
Isn't it adorable?! Well, I think so. Hehe. I sewed heaps of other different ones too before Christmas.
Anyhoo, onto other topics. On the school holidays my family and I went to Tasmania! It's so far the second state in Australia. In 2004 we went to Queensland and that was amazing, especially for a little kid like me!
Tasmania was really good too. The highlight of the trip was Cradle Mountain. It was so beautiful there. I a lot of photos of it. At the bottom of the mountain is a massive lake called Dove Lake. We did the circuit around it and it took us 3 hours!!! It was 6.6 km long! Well, 6 km is a VERY long walk for me... yes I am unfit. Okay, here are more photos! These are of Dove Lake and Cradle Mountain.
Dad and my sister walking to the start of the circuit.
Some random people. That's a nice mountain.
A nice water shot with the mountain at the back
It was a bit cloudy then
I must admit, I really love this photos. I could just eat those flowers! I wonder what species they are...
A tea tree branch in flower. I love these!!
A nice view from Glacial Rock
Helena (a.k.a 'Nini', although she HATES being called that), at Glacial Rock
Button grass and other plants. Apparently the tiger snakes LOVE the button grass!
I can't remember what this part of the Cradle Mountain National Park was...
Ughh, the flower is blurry..
A nice little trickle of water on pebbles
Nice reddish-orange rocks in water
Water flowing down a quartz rock with moss
Another water shot
Ground perspective or an ant's view of the grass and water
More yellow flowers. I love this one too.
And more yellow flowers. Yes I love this one too.
More water. Hey it looks like beer! Hahaha
Some red berries
I like this photo :)
And another on of my favourites
Nice looking Cradle Mountain
A blurry photo of a Tasmanian Pademelon and her baby!
Well, that's pretty much all the pictures of Cradle Mountain and it's national park. Thanks for reading!
